When you were sworn in you agreed to take the “lessons of the order.” These lessons are the Major Degree. It is the highest degree a Hibernian can receive and provides the lessons that define our Organization and its purpose. There is no prior studying required, it is only a few hours, is a prerequisite for holding an AOH office and worth 5 points on your child’s scholarship application. Those who have taken it have found it a worthwhile experience. A Major Degree Ceremony will be held at the Pearl River Hilton on Saturday July 16th, it will never be closer nor more convenient.
