Brother Hibernians,
Our next meeting will be held on March 23rd at 8 pm. Welcome aboard to new members Chris Day, Chris Maloney, Sean Maloney, Kevin Maloney, Kevin Cole, William Fitzgerald, Paul Keating, and William Boera. The Emerald Ball was a great success, many thanks to all who supported and congratulations to chairwoman Mary Mulcahy. We got hammered with a snow storm on March 2nd but we showed the documentary āNo Stone Unturnedā to those brave enough to venture down to the hall. We will try to arrange another showing. We had a packed hall for the Lourdes Kids breakfast the next morning, many thanks go out to cooks Sean Walsh and Rich Halpin, face painter Kathleen Troy, and our Disney characters Maureen McNulty, Margaret Moore, Brianne Lynn, and Meaghan Mallon. Congrats to Jack OāConnor, Larry DeGennaro, cooks Dan Callanan and Larry Connell, and all the volunteers and performers for another successful Senior Citizenās Luncheon. Iām looking forward to seeing you all this Sunday. March with pride in your faith and heritage behind Battalion Commander Dan Mulligan. Please dress appropriately
Dan Callanan reports the following Good and Welfare Newsā¦Please say a prayer for the repose of the souls of John Taylor and Kevin Pettus. Gene Flood is doing well at home with a new pacemaker and “skip along” Pete Dunn is also doing well with his new hip. Many thanks to all of the member volunteers who pitched in for the Senior Citizens St.Patrickās Day luncheon along with high schoolers who earned their citizen volunteer chits and also to Jim “the professor” and Sean Collins for the speculator job they did in cleaning up the kitchen afterward.
As always, please remember to say an extra prayer or two for our wounded warriors and their families.
