Our next meeting will be held on Friday, March 27th. Welcome aboard to Lino Sciaretti, Francis Gavin, Brendan O’Sullivan, Sean Murphy, Mike Moroney, and Matt Dunn. Many thanks to all the members who helped out Belfast Richie in his time of need, it’s what our organization is all about. A great time was had by all at the Emerald Ball, please read the article on the Ball further on in the newsletter.
There will be a free ride to the City Parade on the 17th for those wishing to march with the County. The bus leaves the Cultural Center in Blauvelt at 11 am. What an honor it will be to march behind Linda, Vince, and Teresa on the 22nd! Please see Bill Lee’s article on the County parade.
Dan Callanan reports the following Good and Welfare news Please say a prayer for the repose of the souls of Archie Morash, Matt Miller’s mom Elizabeth, Bob Scully’s motherin- law Vincenza, Kevin Haugh’s son Matthew McNally, and Brian McKiernan’s nephew Mickey Reeves. The prayers and good wishes suggested recently seem to be working as well as can be expected. You can add the following to that list; Tom Hogan who broke his foot on his way to praying at St. Pats Cathedral, Pat Finnegan broke his knee most likely in sympathy for his golf partner Hogan’s injury, Ray Gallagher wrenched his back, Belfast Richie had his house burned down. Remind your high school children they can earn their community service stripes helping out at our St. Patrick’s Day luncheon on Saturday, March 21, 2015.
As always, please remember to say an extra prayer or two for our wounded warriors and their families.
Yours in Friendship, Unity & Christian Charity,
Dermot O’Connor Moore, President.
