Our next meeting will be held on Friday, May 20. Welcome aboard to West Point Cadet Stephan Murphy. Many thanks to all our Mother’s Day Breakfast volunteers and especially our cooks Tim, Phil and Linda Sheridan. Please join the Division marching on May 30 to remember our war dead at the Pearl River Memorial Day Parade.
Please say a prayer for the repose of the soul of Gene Flood’s father Eugene, and Don McKallen’s and Terence Watters’ mother-in-law Mary King. Please also say a prayer for Steve Gilmartin’s daughter Sinead who underwent surgery for a ruptured appendix.
On Saturday morning, May 21, AOH members will march up Mulberry Street at 9:30 to Old St. Patrick’s Basilica to mark the 175th anniversary of the AOH in America. A mass and reception will follow. We’d like to get a nice showing from Div.3. Please let us know if you can join us.
The County Bi-annual AOH Convention will be held at 2 pm on June 12 at the Irish American Cultural Center. We are now the largest division in the state. We need to ensure that we get proper representation at our own county convention. We’re entitled to 35 votes so let’s make sure we have them, especially since 4 division members are up for re-election. Please keep our troops in your prayers.
Yours in Friendship, Unity & Christian Charity,
Dermot O’Connor Moore, President
