Our next meeting will be held on Friday, June 24. Welcome aboard to new members and associates Ryan McKallen, Michael Mulcahy, Andrew Cullen, and Vincent Homenick. Thanks to all who participated in the march and mass at Old St. Patrick’s Basilica and many, many thanks to all the volunteers who helped out with demolition on the Hibernian House. The McDermott Golf Outing is July 7th, please see Larry’s HH article for more info and contacts. I hope to see you all at the many events scheduled at the NYS convention on July 13th through 16th. The Rockland Feis is July 17th and volunteers are needed, please see the LAOH article for contact info. The Troy/Diviny Golf Outing is August 18, please contact Denis at 845- 548- 4142.
Please say a prayer for Frank McDonagh’s wife Mary as she fights the good fight, Connie Smith who is encountering difficulty gaining weight after his surgery, Jim Fitzmaurice who is having difficulty getting around on wobbly legs, Mike O’Neill’s mom Peggy as she recovers from injuries suffered in a car accident in North Carolina, our regular pub clean-up man Jack Grady who is having back problems, and Jimmy Doyle as he recovers from liver transplant surgery. Jim says he’s doing great but is worried that as his conditions improve he will lose some of the great attention he has been getting from Peggy and from his sisters. Seems like the girls think it’s about time for old Jim to get up and get a little exercise.
