On Friday June 8th the annual Gaelic Football Match between the NYPD and FDNY will be held at Gaelic Park West 240th Street and Broadway in the Bronx. The proceeds from this years benefit will go to defray the medical cost of Sergeant Justin McCormack a member of the NYPD Intelligence Unit, a 22 year NYPD veteran and U.S. Army Veteran. Justin suffered a massive stroke in December 2011 and still has paralysis on his left side.
These are always great mathes, and this year it is possible to not only support our native games, but one of our own in a great cause. Please see Mookie for tickets or on-line at www.nypdgaelicfootball.org
