The St. Patrick’s Day Parade and Celebration Committee is pleased to announce that it is once again sponsoring both a College Level Research Paper Contest and a High School Level Research Paper Contest. These Scholarships are available to family member of any person belonging to an organization which has paid its 2012 affiliation fee to the NYC St. Patrick’s Day Parade Committee (Division 3 is an affiliated organization so all members are eligible). Family members may include son, daughter, spouse, brother, sister, niece, nephew, grandchild, grandniece, grandnephew and great grandchild.
FRANCIS P. BEIRNE COLLEGE SCHOLARSHIP CONTEST
The first, second, and third place winners will receive individual prizes of $2,500, $1,500, and $1,000 respectively.
MARGARET O’ROURKE HIGH SCHOOL SCHOLARSHIP CONTEST
The first, second, and third place winners will receive individual prizes of $1,200, $800, and $500.
