It’s hard to believe we are less than a week away from Thanksgiving, and we have a big weekend of events coming up. I am so appreciative and thankful when I look at all that we are doing as an organization, and how much effort you all put into what we do.
Our next division meeting is at the Hibernian House tonight, Friday, November 17th at 8:00pm. Aside from discussing the many upcoming events, we’ll conduct nominations for Division Officers, as well as take nominations for our representatives to the Rockland St. Patrick’s Day parade as Battalion Commander and Aide to the Grand Marshal.
Welcome to our newest members who were sworn in at our October meeting:
|Daniel Aley (Pearl River)||John O’Hagan (Pearl River)|
|John Dowd (Pearl River)||Kevin Prunty (West Nyack)|
|Brian Mitchell (Blauvelt)|
Thanks much to John Edwards and team for the “Halloween Howl” party – the band the Rummies sounded great and thanks to all who showed up for a great night.
We are looking forward to the Senior Luncheon and the first Pot Of Gold Drawing Party – both occurring this weekend. We always appreciate the volunteers who help run these tremendous events. And you still have time to get into this weekend’s drawing if you buy that ticket!
We have a lot coming up over the next couple of months – whether you want Irish music, a good night out or a full day of skiing. See the full list under Upcoming Events
and figure out where you want to get involved.
Good & Welfare – Please pray for the repose of the soul of our Brother, Tom Gerondel (Billy Gerondel’s father) – may he rest in peace. Also, pray for both Dermot Moore
(procedure) and Kevin Haugh (upcoming back surgery) for quick recoveries. As always, we pray that you and your family are healthy and safe.
Yours in Friendship, Unity and Christian Charity,
