I hope this month’s newsletter finds you and your family well and everyone had a good St. Patrick’s Day and parade here in Pearl River. Thanks to those who came out and marched with our Division. This gives us one more chance to recognize the Division 3 honorees – Neil Cosgrove as Grand Marshal, Sean Walsh as Aide to the NYC Grand Marshal, Frank McDonagh as Aide to the Grand Marshal and Dan Sullivan as Battalion Commander.
After the very busy couple of weeks, thanks, too, to all those helping out with the various events from the Emerald Ball through to the very busy day at the pub. We look forward to getting caught up at tonight’s Division meeting – 8pm at the Hibernian House.
A special shout-out to Fergal Hayes and the Pearl River School of Irish Music for organizing the great night of Irish music on March 15th with the Ceoltoiri na Riochta (Musicians from the Kingdom) – the night included music from this large, talented group of musicians from County Kerry along with many local youth musicians.
We still have over a week of Irish American Heritage Month left, so look for content from the National AOH Board. There is some great content on the national website – please take some time to take a look, or better yet, share with your children:

In the upcoming month, our scholarship process will continue with the Irish history exam. Applicants will be contacted with details. As soon as we have a definitive date for our Hibernian Mass and Communion Breakfast where we present the scholarships, we will let everyone know.
Good & Welfare –Please say a prayer for the repose of the soul of our brother Walter Murray and for the wife of Larry Kaine, Karen Kaine – may they rest in peace.
As always, we pray that you and your family are healthy and safe.
Yours in Friendship, Unity and Christian Charity,
Chuck Parnow
