June 2026 President’s Message

June 12, 2026 by Administrator

Brother Hibernians,

It seems we’re having another year of a very short spring launching right into summer. Thanks to those members who took the time out to march with us at the Pearl River Memorial Day Parade. We look forward to seeing you Friday, June 12th at 8pm at our monthly meeting. This will be the last meeting of the school year, as we take off the remainder of the summer.

Congratulations to the Golf Committee, headed by Scott MacMaster, on a very successful golf outing. It seemed we had three seasons on the course during the day, and we had a great celebration of Phil Lane with his family afterwards. Thanks to everyone who came out to support the event, and a special ‘thank you’ with much appreciation to the volunteers who took time out that day to make it happen.

Also, Congratulations to the recipients of our ten scholarships. We had another good turnout, and our scholarship committee once again stepped up to make the decision on the 10 recipients. Please see the following article on the scholarships that were given out after our Hibernian Mass – another beautiful annual event – please see the article.

Note, we postponed our first ‘New Member Appreciation Night’ until the Fall. We’re looking forward to having it and inviting recent new members as a way to give them an in-depth understanding of the workings of our organization and all we do.

Good & Welfare

Please pray for the repose of the souls of Brothers Kevin Haugh and Rich Reidy, and Joan Corrigan, wife of Jimmy Corrigan, and Eileen Burke, mother of Red Burke and grandmother of Red & Sean Burke – may they all rest in peace. Please continue to keep John Crilley in your prayers, as he deals with health issues.

As always, we pray that you and your family are healthy and safe.

Yours in Friendship, Unity and Christian Charity,

Chuck Parnow
