What a tremendous day and a great event! We had a fantastic turnout of golfers – over 160+ people took to the course on Friday, May 10th. Once you include the dinner guests and the many volunteers, we had well over 200 attend the day. Thanks to all who came – both to remember our brother, Patrick Moore, as well as provide tremendous financial support for our many charitable efforts.

Special mention should be made of the many businesses and individuals who contributed as sponsors – we hope you noticed all of the hole sponsor signs, beverage sponsor, and dinner sponsor signs. They have supported us, and we should make sure to support their businesses, too! A special shout out to Tom Lynch and the Lynch Golf Group, who provided the Florida Condo raffle prize. Thanks, too, to the family of Patrick Moore who came out in large numbers and appreciated the recognition of their dad, brother, uncle and friend whom we lost too soon.

Finally, a huge thank you to the golf committee. This group worked diligently for two months – planning and organizing for the day, pursuing sponsorships and gift donations, and all the heavy lifting the day of the event. There were too many people involved for me to name them all (without missing many), but I do want to thank Scott McMaster for stepping in and leading as the Chair of the overall committee. Scott has been a member for less than two years, but he’s shown the power and value of getting
directly involved.
