We are fortunate to have so many fine young people in our community. All those who applied impressed the judges with their academics, community service and Irish cultural activities. All applicants took an exam on Irish and Irish American history and when that was combined with the average score from the review by ten judges of the candidates applications fractions of points separated some of the candidates.
